Starship Troopers Reboot Planned!!!

Prepare to return to Klendathu!!!!
Latino Review is reporting that producer Neal Moritz is in talks to remake the film Starship Troopers, based on the popular novel by science fiction writer Robert A. Heinlein.
Moritz has hired the screen writing team of Ashley Edward Miller and Zach Stens, who penned this years hugely successful X-Men First Class, to write a remake of Paul Verhoeven’s 1997 version of the film. More after the fold...
Fans of the novel complained that the 1997 film lacked the power armor and orbital drops that were prominent in the novel amongst other omissions. In fact the only Starship Troopers project that could be considered readily accepted by fans was the animated series Roughnecks, which had the characters wearing power armor.
How close this new adaptation will be to the books is any ones guess at the moment but I'm sure if it is green lit for production it will be better than the Verhoeven version and its two direct to DVD sequels.
