DC & Archie Comics Abandons The Comic Code DC & Archie Comi cs have decided to follow Marvel Comics in abandoning the once useful but no longer relevant Comic Code Authority shield that was present on comics dating back to the 1950’s. DC will now focus on a rating system similar to what is currently being done with Marvel titles.
